According to a photograph published in social media and a daily newspaper it was shown the way of children sitting for the G.C.E. Ordinary Level examination among difficulties yesterday (31.05.2022) in an examination hall of a school in Hampaha zone.
The ministry of education has given necessary instructions to the commissioner of examinations to take necessary actions and to be ascertained not to happen such events in the future after conducting an inquiry by the department of examinations regarding the matters of selecting this hall as an examination hall, not taking immediate steps to change the hall in a rainy situation and not reporting this situation to the department of examination and obtaining necessary instructions from them.
Furthermore, according to the report of the department of examinations regarding this, it has reported that the exam candidates subjected to this difficulty have been given a relief at the same moment.
