පවත්නා කොවිඩ් 19 වසංගත තත්වය තුළ සේවා ලාභීන්ගේ හා කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයේ සෞඛ්‍යාරක්ෂාව සැලකිල්ලට ගෙන අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යාංශයේ මහජන දිනය නැවත දැනුම් දෙන තුරු නොපැවැත්වීමට තීරණය කර ඇත. ඒ අනුව නැවත මහජන දිනය පැවැත්වෙන දිනය අමාත්‍යාංශ වෙබ් අඩවියේ පළකිරීම සඳහා දන්වනු ලබන අතර එතෙක් සේවාලාභීන්ගේ අභියාචනා හා ලිපි ප්‍රධාන ගේට්ටුවේ ආරක්ෂක අංශය වෙත භාර දීමට හැකියාව ඇත.

අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යංශය මගින් පවත්වාගෙන යනු ලබන ක්‍රීඩා පාසල් සඳහා 2021 වර්ෂයට සිසුන් ඇතුළත් කර ගැනීමේ සම්මුඛ පරීක්ෂණ සහ ප්‍රායෝගික පරීක්ෂණ 2021 අප්‍රේල් මස 27 දින සිට ආරම්භ කිරීමට සැලසුම් කර තිබුණි. දැනට රටේ පවතින සෞඛ්‍ය තත්ත්වය අනුව එම පරීක්ෂණ පැවැත්වීම සුදුසු නොවන බව තීරණය කරන ලදී ඒ අනුව, ක්‍රීඩා පාසල් සඳහා සිසුන් ඇතුළත් කර ගැනීම
