The Ministry of Education has taken actions following the instructions of The Minister of Education Dr. Susil Premajayantha to conduct a series of supporting seminars with the aim of improving subject achievement level of the students who are scheduled to sit for G.C.E. (A/L) examination in 2022.
This series of seminars will be held island wide covering all Science, Commerce, Technology and Arts subject streams with the contribution of lecturers from state universities as resource persons.
In parallel to this, a capacity development program for G.C.E. (A/L) teachers will also be conducted in collaboration with the university lecturers.
Hon. Minister expects that the guidelines and encouragement necessary for sitting the G.C.E. (A/L) examination confidently will be acquired by the students through the successful organization of this program.
