A meeting between the Japanese Ambassador in Sri Lanka Mr. Mizukoshi Hideaki and The Minister of Education Dr. Susil Premajayantha was taken place today the 24th at ‘Isurupaya’ Ministry of Education.
The international relationships between Japan and Sri Lanka and the present education system in our country and the scheduled program to be implemented in the field of education in the future were discussed in this occasion. Further discussions were also held here about the importance of learning Japanese language by the students in Sri Lanka. The ambassador expressed his congratulations to the new minister of education and discussed about extending his support for the promotion of the education system at any necessary situation.
