A number of scholarships for degree and post graduate level studies in a wide range of study fields including Engineering, Science, Economics and Water Management are annually offered by the government of Hungaria to Sri Lankan students.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungaria Peter Siyarto and The Minister of Education Dinesh Gunawardana signed this memorandum of understanding at the ministry of foreign affairs on 12.01.2022.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs G.L. Peiris, The State Minister Tharaka Balasooriya, Hungarian Member of Parliament Peter Seressees, the Secretary of the ministry of foreign affairs Jayanath Kolambage, the Secretary of the ministry of education Professor Kapila Perera and the representatives from both countries participated in this occasion.
