We are pleased to invite you to the first virtual South Asia-focused implementation research conference, “Delivering for Nutrition (D4N) in South Asia: Implementation Research in the Context of COVID-19,” from December 1-2, 2021.
COVID-19 has disrupted health systems, nutrition services, and food systems around the world, including in South Asia. Research-based evidence and programmatic experiences are essential to support stakeholders to restore services and re-orient programs and policies to support better nutrition outcomes.
Through an open call, we have received abstracts on research studies and implementation experiences, explicitly focused on COVID-19, and related to coverage and quality of maternal and child health and nutrition interventions/programs, social safety net programs, the impacts of the pandemic on infant and young child feeding practices, diet quality, food security, nutritional status and other outcomes.
The discussions and deliberations emerging from this conference are expected to convey research-based insights to nutrition stakeholders and policymakers to bolster actions for tackling undernutrition in South Asia.
