Measures to provide CDs to all schools
The official handing over of the compact disc named ‘Healthy living through good habits” to the Secretary of Education for the purpose of issuing and distributing among schools was happened today (04) at the Ministry of Education. This CD contains the guidelines for schools about the prevention of covid 19 in line with the circular and the guidelines that have been already issued by the Ministry of Education according to the instructions and directions of the health authorities to make the entire school community aware of the prevention of spreading Covid 19.
The arrangements have been made to distribute these compact discs that have been produced with the sponsorship of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation among all the schools in the island when the schools are reopened.
In addition to this, the opportunity has been provided to obtain the instructions contained in this CD from the official website of the ministry of education www.moe.gov.lk , from youtube using the Barcode given in the CD or from the website of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation.
A gathering including the Secretary of the Ministry of Education Mr. N.H.M. Chithrananda, State Secretary Mr. Ranjith Chandrasekara, the Directress of Health and Nutrition Ms. Renuka Peiris and the Chairperson of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Mr. Jagath Wellawatta had joined in this occasion.
