The approval of the Cabinet of Ministers has been received to pay the minimum joined allowance increased from R. 1,450.00 to Rs. 2,000.00 paid to the paper markers of the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) examination in 2022(2023) also to the paper markers of the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) examination in 2023(2024).
Furthermore, the approval has been received to pay the increased allowance that was paid to the chief controlling examiners, co-controlling examiners, chief examiners and additional chief examiners of the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) examination in 2022(2023) also to the evaluation duties of the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) examination in 2023(2024).
Accordingly, the Department of Examinations will take actions to pay the aforesaid revised allowances to the evaluation staff of the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) examination in 2023(2024).
