While attending the World Education Summit (2023) held in London with the participation of the Ministers of Education and representing officers from all over the world, The Minister of Education Dr. Susil Premajayantha met the Global Education Director of the World Bank Mr. Jaime Saavedra.
The matters about the new global educational approaches in other countries as well as the new educational reforms implemented in the education system in this country and also about the activities necessary for strengthening the education system and the necessary conceptual changes in order to achieve global education targets in the near future have been discussed in this summit. Dr. Susil Premajayantha further explained the matters relating to the current restraints and challenges in the task of widening the educational capacity in this country.
