Minister of Education Dr. Susil Premajayantha who is in New York to attend Transforming Education Summit met the Director General of UNESCO Audrey Azoulay.
The Minister expressed his gratitude for the support extended by the UNESCO for education sector in Sri Lanka. While explaining the current economic situation and difficulties faced by Sri Lanka Minister also requested continuous support of UNESCO to Sri Lanka.
