The Educational Performance Achievement Is Measured in the Developed Countries from the Teachers not from the Students… -The Minister of Education Dr. Susil Premajayantha
The Minister of Education Dr. Susil Premajayantha says that the performance achievement in education is measured in the countries with a higher level of education from the teachers not from the students and the accountability of the role of teacher must be at an excellent level at all times.
The minister expressed these views while addressing the executive officers of the ministry of education and the national institute of education with the aim of increasing the performance achievement in the field of education for the normalization of entire educational process perfecting the students’ education that has been delayed in the face of present economic crisis.
During this program which was held under the leadership of the minister at the national institute of education, Maharagama the minister said that full attention must be drawn towards a method of maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness creating a proper coordination again among various departments, institutions, service sections, branches and units which are remaining under the ministry of education.
A host of scholars in the field of education including the secretary of education Mr. Nihal Ranasingha, state secretary of education Mr. Upali Sedara, Professor Gunapala Nanayakkara and the director general of the national institute of education Sunil Jayantha Navarathna had joined in this occasion.
