The officers in the education administrative service class 1 have been appointed for the 16 posts of director of education / commissioner to fill the available vacancies in the ministry of education and the institutions under it with the approval of the education committee of the public service commission.
Handing over of these appointment letters to the relevant class one officers happened on 25.04.2022 at the ministry of education with the leadership of The Minister of Education Dr. Ramesh Pathirana and the officers of the ministry including the Additional Secretary W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara.
