The recommendations of the covid controlling committee have been received for the starting of educational activities of grades 10, 11, 12, and 13 of all schools in the island and the ministry of education has decided to start the learning activities of above grades accordingly from 08 th of
November.
After worshiping the temple of tooth relic in Kandy, expressing his ideas about this today The Minister of Education Dinesh Gunawardana said that…. Educational activities in the primary sections of all the schools in the country are happening successfully with a high and excellent rate of participation at the moment. And also, it is another achievement for the students to be able to start the education activities in grades 10,11, 12 and 13 from 08 th of November. The starting educational activities of grades from 6 to 9 soon after receiving the health recommendations and completing the missed subject syllabuses managing the available timeframe and also planning the conducting the examinations in collaboration with relevant sections are also extremely important. Walking through that educational timeframe correctly we will be able to reach our targets of holding G.C.E. Advanced Level exam and the grade 5 scholarship exam within the first quarter of the year 2022. The gratitude of government including the Hon. President, the Prime Minister is extended to all who dedicated to accomplish this situation including the principals, teachers, non-academic staff, health sector staff and political authority and also the parents.
