The blood donation program organized for the fifth time by Transport Welfare Society of the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education was held on 20th of August, 2025 at the premises of Isurupaya, Ministry of Education.

This program was started with the participation of The Prime Minister and the Minister of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, The Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Education Madhura Senevirathna and the Secretary of Education and the objective of this program was to donate blood required for Sri Jayawardhanapura and Apeksha hospitals.
