The discussion to make The University Teachers’ Union and the teachers representing all universities aware of the new education reforms was held on 30th of June at the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education with the leadership of The Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.

At this occasion The Prime Minister sensitized the university teachers about new education reforms.

The University Teachers’ Union expressed their views on the entire education reform including curriculum revisions, using digital technology, modules and activities that will be implemented by the new education reforms.

The attention was drawn by the Prime Minister towards the suggestions and views presented there and she appreciated the new ideas expressed regarding the new education reforms.

The government officers including the Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education Nalaka Kaluwewe and the representatives of the University Teacher’s Union participated in this occasion.
